Michelle Brannen is the Media Literacy Librarian at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Libraries. In this position, she heads The Studio, a media production lab in addition to being the subject liaison for both Journalism and Electronic Media and Studio Art. Michelle received her Master’s in Information Sciences from the University of Tennessee and has a background in music education. Her research interests include learning styles and the creative process; how library services can impact and support learning; library assessment; and diversity in our communities.
