Marta Deyrup is a technical services librarian and also the subject specialist for English, Classics, Modern Languages, Russian and East European Studies, and the Valente Italian Library.
Because she has her doctorate in Slavic and East European Languages and Literatures, she writes for the most part about Slavic librarianship, although she also writes on issues concerning digital scholarship and the digital humanities, information literacy and scholarly communication. Marta Deyup’s research interests overlap with Beth Bloom, and the two of them have partnered on many projects together, the most recent being a grant funded by Google to investigate how undergraduates do research.
