As Media Literacy Librarian at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Michelle Brannen manages the Studio, a media production lab and helps faculty integrate media into university coursework. Michelle is committed to providing media instruction to meet the curricular needs of the campus and the career goals of students. Michelle is also the subject librarian for the Journalism and Electronic Media and Studio Art programs, providing research consultations, information literacy instruction, and collection development for these disciplines. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Tennessee.
