AJ Kelton is the Director of Emerging & Instructional Technology for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Montclair State University in New Jersey. He is the Founder of the Emerging Learning Design and Chair of this year’s conference as well as the Managing Editor for the Journal of Emerging Learning Design. AJ is involved in academic and emerging technology, social media, games, and virtual worlds for education and has presented on these topics both in the U.S. and internationally. He is a doctoral candidate in the Educational Communication and Technology program at New York University where his research is focused on the instructor experience regarding group formation and composition and how it impacts teaching and learning.
